Connection Map

Definition

A Connection Map helps to plot connections between two data points on a map. These data points connect each other by a straight line or a circular line. Actually, this line is the shortest path between those points.

Why do you need it?

We need a connection map to have a web connection of all the points to analyze the basic network of our dataset. This analysis is time-saving and effective. This visualization of the connection between points looks attractive and appealing in a presentation.

What kind of data you can visualize with it?

We can analyze geographical-related data using this map. Assume you have a dataset of all the incoming and outgoing of stocks from different shops in a geographic region. The connection map can be an alternative at that time. The more concentration of lines in a certain region will show more incoming and outgoing stocks.
